Clinging to the burden of responsibilities while sinking in the deep-necked waters of aspirations and fidelity, women often become laid back in acknowledging their health, happiness and mental peace. We forget so easily that our family universe revolves around the paradigm of our existence and we let our own sanity go on an existential crisis without knowing the outcome of it. Taking a breath of fresh air and unwinding our robotic schedules is what every woman needs- whether you are working or you are a mother or none or both, doesn’t matter. What matters is that you take a moment to decipher your life and its agenda and the most beautiful thing about that moment is that it can last as long as you want.
Working hard to gain a comfortable life is what most of us are anyways doing, but are we thinking about what we are doing, how are we doing and what needs to be changed? If yes, then congratulate yourselves as you are already on the path of the growth spectrum.
Take a goddamn break
Yes, without going on a guilt trip of what you will actually miss, please take a break where you can actually gain an insight. Breathing, pausing and relaxing is so important for rejuvenating, clearing our heads and planning about the big and small things we are about to do in life. If you can, please take a few days off to resonate your soul with your heart to add a meaningful tone in your already melodious journey of life.
Think, reflect and ponder
Fitness for the mind is as important as exercise for bodies. A healthy mind is a sign of a healthy woman in making. Being lumber busy is the need for the hour but definitely overrated for women like us who do not take a while and feel like taking some time to think is a waste of time. No, it’s not!
‘Piece’ of mind
How many times do we think about having a good time and how many times are we actually at peace when we are having a good time? Very rarely as our minds are always busy planning, organizing, setting strategies and thinking of ways to accomplish things. For a while, stop making elaborate plans and start enjoying minimalistic luxuries and petite comforts. Always note that an experience is worth it if the heart is full.
Learn to say ‘No’ to others
We often wish to take some time away from the sluggish mornings and stressful nights, yet we cannot due to endless commitments, duties and wishful favors. Please be direct, say ‘No’ and move on if it costs you your peace. You need to draw lines that are visible to you as well as to others.
As simple as it sounds, it is a ‘one step at a time’ kind of a thing but a lifetime resolution you make for yourself for a better insight into your dreams, ambitions and quality of living. Your goals only belong to you and you owe yourself a great deal of appreciation for withstanding situations that only the majority can imagine to survive. Don’t lose it (the spark). It’s right there waiting to be ignited again in the thirst for triumph from a soul like you- so generous, who is here to stay and thrive.
PS: I took a break from writing but here I am back on Muwoment, stronger than ever. I am not here to quit. I am here to stay. I had dimmed my light for a while for my personal growth, but I never lost my shine. So happy to be back and taking Muwoment to heights!
