Celebrate Womanhood

We don’t need a particular day to feel privileged or cherished. Womanhood is all about celebrating each day of our lives, knowing the fact that we already are exceptional. Women are one of the most gorgeous creations of Allah. A blessed combo of tough bodies with powerful minds, women could bring radical reformation in the world. We are a symbol of bravery and comfort at the same time and a strong woman is a reflection of a flourishing society.
Going to space or doing surgeries, fighting a war or running own business, women have proved time and again that if we really want to achieve something, we absolutely can. But do these achievements define us? Allah has already made us unique. Things that we do are far more superior to any other achievements.
Bleeding every month (and surviving it) is an achievement. Getting pregnant, having a child is an achievement. Living with a new family after getting married is an achievement. Taking care of every family member’s need is an achievement. We all are achievers in our own ways and we should celebrate this each day of the year with pride and fulfillment. Bringing salvation in society is what women are blessed with; that could transform a catastrophic situation into a lively festivity.
Women grow each day, from being a fragile girl to a rational youngster. From being a considerate adult to a sympathetic lady, the phases of every woman’s life are like an escalating ladder elevating her through each transition of her existence. Tears could be sore, confidence could shake, there could also be a nervous breakdown but a woman stands up every time even after falling a million times and that makes her what she is.
We don’t need to be a man in the society, our role as a woman is outstanding and something to feel proud of. Let’s stop getting influenced by women portrayed by media. We have strong women examples in our Islam- Khadija (R.A), Ayesha (R.A), Aasiya (R.A), Fatima (R.A) and Mariam (R.A). These women are the epitome of strength, grace, wisdom, knowledge and compassion; women who stand for what they are, women who unite people as an ummah and those who spread positivity in the society.
Let’s acknowledge ourselves for what we do, stand for what is right, gain knowledge and influence society in a constructive way, because that’s what we are- an optimistic energy in this delusional lost world. Let’s celebrate womanhood today and everyday.
Tap on your shoulders ladies to make it so far and say a few kind words to yourself because life is beautiful when you feel beautiful within.
